We feature short humor pieces, like the kind you find on McSweeney’s or Shouts and Murmurs, read aloud by the people who wrote them. An Evening of Humorous Readings has featured writers from Saturday Night Live, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Onion, and more. Plus, it’s free, and you can buy beers! Brian Agler is a writer living in New York City. His work has appeared in The New Yorker, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, and Esquire. He tweets @brianagler and websites at www.brianagler.com. Luke Burns is a writing guy who does writing things in New York City. His work has appeared in The Best of McSweeney’s Internet Tendency and on The New Yorker’s Daily Shouts blog. James Folta is a writer based in Brooklyn whose work has appeared in The New Yorker, The American Bystander and more.
