Join Repair the World for an afternoon volunteering in the Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger food pantry.
The Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger was founded in 1998 out of a church basement and is now the largest pantry in Brooklyn, providing food for 30,000 people each month. We will be assisting clients choose groceries in the pantry, packing food bags to be distributed to communities in need around Brooklyn, and helping organize food in the warehouse.
Volunteers must be 14+ years old. Volunteers 14-17 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
