Andre Medrano and Maggie Maxwell invite the funniest people they know from stand up, sketch comedy, improv and beyond to answer the pressing questions facing society. Things like would you rather lose the ability to sweata or spit? Brunch with holy guacamole or picnic with blessed dressing? And other even more intense things! This unique NYC comedy event has been going strong for more than three years. Past guests have appeared on Netflix, HBO, Comedy Central, MTV, Hulu, and comedy festivals across the country.  June's line up includes Carmen Christopher (High Maintenance, The Chris Gethard Show), Mariana Garces (Q.E.D.), Sagar Bhatt (Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Sack Lunch) and more! The show is free and takes happens at Friends and Lovers, one of the best venues for comedy in Brooklyn. Only blocks from the Franklin stop on the A,C.

She originally hails from Hawaii, and no, she doesn’t surf. Repping The Universe: Lee Billings – Lee is a senior editor at Scientific American covering space and physics, and author of the award-winning book Five Billion Years of Solitude: The Search for Life Among the Stars.  This event is a collaboration with Scientific American. Scientific American is the essential guide to the most awe-inspiring advances in science and technology, with coverage that explains how research changes our understanding of the world and shapes our lives.
